Bruderheim Out of Town
• A WorldWeb.com Travel Guide to Out of Town in Bruderheim, Alberta.
Bruderheim means “home of the brethren” and was named by German Moravian settlers in 1984. The Moravian Church, 796-3775, built in 1895, commemorates the first Protestant congregation in Western Canada and is still used today. Skara Shine, 22 km (13.75 mi.) northeast of town on Hwy. 45, is made of local fieldstone and is the object of an annual pilgrimage in mid-August by descendants of Ukrainian pioneers.
