Edmonton Roller Derby is alive and in full force. E-Ville Roller Derby offers a full season of live, all-female, full-contact roller derby. Fans get together the last Saturday of every month to cheer on their favorite Derby girl.
The Oil City Derby Girls are a womens flat track roller derby league. Recruiting for the league takes place at Sportsworld, 13710-104st in Edmonton, 10am Sundays.

A Western Hockey League team, the Edmonton Oil Kings play out of Rexall Place from the September to March season. Edmonton is a tried-and-true hockey city and fans love the fast-paced action of this major junior hockey club.
The NPP Late Model Series is an Alberta-based racing organization made up of 20 teams from Alberta and British Columbia. NPP Series race cars look similiar to NASCAR Stock Cars. The Series competes at five Alberta race tracks with special events in the United States.
The ESSC offers organized co-ed sports leagues to active adults. Offering indoor and outdoor sports such as basketball, floor hockey, soccer, volleyball, flag football, Ultimate frisbee, & slo-pitch.
The Edmonton Energy has joined the 18-team International Basketball League (IBL) and will play their inaugural game on May 8, 2009 at the MacEwan Sports & Wellness Centre against the Vancouver Titans.
