Getting Help
Edmonton Tourism (a division of Economic Development Edmonton) is a
destination marketing organization (dmo) responsible for the promotion of
international and domestic travel to the Greater Edmonton Region. Edmonton
Tourism has professional staff in both Leisure and Business Travel
departments to provide planning assistance, supplier contacts, and
collateral material on Edmonton and area for the development of group and
independent tour programs, incentive travel, meetings and conventions.
Services for Convention Planners
The professional staff of Edmonton Tourism's Meetings & Business Travel
Division are available to meet with you in a consultative role to assist in
planning your meeting or trade show.
If you're a member of an organization that could be invited to convene
in Edmonton, we will work with you in preparing and submitting an
invitation. The sales staff attend major trade shows and plan special
promotions in their major market areas in Canada, USA, and internationally.
We can work with key planners or call on your executives to promote Edmonton
as their meeting destination.
