Edmonton Streets, Avenues & Boulevards

Located in the historic district of Old Strathcona between 99th Street and 109th Street, this vibrant avenue is home to numerous trendy boutiques, stores, services and restaurants as well as several major chains. Popular live music and abundant pubs are a large part of the thriving nightlife found along this strip.

This bustling street is home to a number of unique shops, galleries, restaurants and high rise condos from 97 Avenue to 104 Avenue. The Street City Market is also located here, which runs Saturdays from May through October and offers fresh produce, baked goods, meats and ethnic foods as well as a variety of arts and crafts.

Located within the District of Old Glenora, this historic strip runs from Jasper Avenue north to 111 Avenue. Cobbled sidewalks and decorative street-lights add to the charm of this popular street which offers unique stores, cafes and restaurants.

The impressive Chinatown Gate downtown at 102 Avenue and 97 Street welcomes visitors to the hub of the Chinese community. The gate was built as a symbol of friendship between Edmonton and its sister city, Harbin. Don't forget to roll the ball in the lion's mouth for good luck! Chinatown runs eastward along 102 Avenue to 95 Street and south to Jasper Avenue (the Edmonton Chinatown Multicultural Centre is here). Chinatown extends north on 97 Street from 105 to 108 Avenue.
