The largest theatre complex in Canada, this major arts facility houses five theatres (Shoctor, Rice, Zeidler Hall, the Maclab Theatre and Tucker Amphitheatre) as well as production facilities, a bookstore, restaurant and theatre school. Group tours can be prearranged.
Accoustically superb with a design reminiscent of 19th Century European Concert Halls, this world-class performance centre is home to the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and one of Canada's largest, most impressive pipe organs - The Davis Concert Organ.
Commissioned by the Alberta government in 1955 to celebrate the province's 50th anniversary, this 2,700 seat auditorium located near the University of Alberta is home to the Edmonton Opera and Alberta Ballet.Several Edmonton professional theatre companies perform in the main theatre and Kaasa Theatre throughout the year.
Every seat in the house at the Horowitz Theatre provides a close, intimate view of the performers on stage. This 720-seat concert hall features a comfortable setting and an inviting atmosphere where patrons can truly enjoy the fine arts.
Western Canada's longest-running amateur theatre group, now 45 years old. Located in the heart of Old Strathcona in the oldest Firehall in Edmonton.
This theatre, located in a refurbished church, is home to Northern Light Theatre and Workshop West Playwrights theatre.
Every Wednesday 8-11pm in Rossdale Community Hall. The Hall is in the River Valley just east of Telus Stadium. No cover charge but donations are gladly accepted to help pay for the Hall rental. This unique open stage is hosted by Brian Gregg with the great assistance of Patsy Amico & Janice Wiest.
