Edmonton Summer Camps
This summer Bible camp on Lac Ste. Anne, about 45 minutes from Edmonton, fills out its Bible-teaching program with activities such as canoeing, tubing, go-carts, survival training and more. Staff have been trained, and subsidies are available.
This camp is for aspiring young singers ages 14-19 with previous vocal training. Vocalists take skills to a higher level by preparing an audition for a school or theatre group or a university or college program through private lessons/coaching and theatre-technique classes. Also covered are: resume skills, headshots and mock auditions. Genres include: musical theatre, art song, opera and operetta.
This swim club holds half and full-day week-long camps throughout the summer for beginner swimmers, as well as experienced synchronized swimmers. Activities include synchronized swimming, flexibility training, stroke improvement, fitness conditioning and games.
Discover E offers week-long science and computer day camps at the University of Alberta for ages 6 through 18. Camps feature innovative, hands-on programming and run through July and August. Visit website for more information.
