coastal areas--the Atlantic, the Pacific and the Arctic oceans--with 22,000
km (13,670 mi) of trail.
This hike has something for nearly everyone. For the amateur botanist the orchids of Beaverdam will be reason enough to take this walk. For the history buff, it’s a chance to walk a kilometre or two along the historic rail bed of the Canadian Northern Railway that alone made the coal mines at Nordegg a viable operation.
