This is a fairly straightforward hike that offers great views for modest elevation gain. Quads are threatening to chew up the old logging road that is taken at the beginning of the hike, but once off the road and onto the open slope one cannot but help enjoy the climb up Eagle Mountain, a local name for the highest point in the Brazeau Range north of the North Saskatchewan River.
